The grief and gratitude of organ donation

Touching video shared to us by the family of five-year-old Adelynn Gaddis who died last week in a drowning accident. Her parents made the difficult decision to save lives and donate her organs. Staff at a Spokane hospital stopped to pay tribute to this Kennewick girl and her family moments before her commitment to save lives.

Organ donation usually means a family somewhere is struggling with the tragedy of losing someone, but the folks at LifeCenter Northwest say giving the gift of life is something that can make the grieving process easier for a family dealing with loss because they know their loved one's decision has saved lives.
